Want to help your team be more effective?

Are you a coach working with teams who struggle to focus on outcomes over outputs?

Our 6-week online Coaching OKRs program (two 1-hour sessions per week) will enable you to help your teams unlock the power of writing meaningful objectives and key results (OKRs) and inspire them to consistently deliver exceptional outcomes.

Weekly programme

Each week will start with a 1-hour lesson on a key topic, then you will undertake some self-paced study and practice with your teams, and at the end the week we’ll have a 1-hour group coaching call to discuss how the study and practice has gone, and answer any questions.

You will also get 2 boxes of the Rule the World card game and the companion book Coaching OKRs (see below for details).

Topics (by week)

  1. Making the case for OKRs with your teams and organisation
  2. Introducing OKRs to your teams
  3. Starting the OKR cycle

Your instructor and coach

The Coaching OKRs program was developed by me, David Morris. After working with hundreds of teams, either to introduce OKRs or to coach them to get better at it, I developed a proven blueprint to introduce, train, and lead a team through OKR cycles.

I realised I could have more impact teaching this to other coaches, and introduced this to a few organisations. Now I am on a mission to spread this even wider through the Coaching OKRs program.

How I got here:

My first job was as a software developer, so I know what our teams do in their day jobs. After that, I became a team lead, a project manager, a business analyst, a scrum master, a product owner, and an agile coach (though not all at the same time ðŸ˜€).

Nowadays, I focus more on helping organisations understand how to harness the speed and agility that should come from high-performing teams enabled by aligning with the vision and priorities.

This combines guidance on adopting hybrid delivery practices at scale, with more joined-up rolling-wave funding and planning, along with an integrated framework for objectives and key results (OKRs).

Rule the World

A fun and easy-to-play card game you can use with your teams to get hands on experience of working with OKRs. In under 30 minutes, players take on the role of an evil genius fighting against their arch-rivals for world domination.

Perfect for team meetings, events, or off-sites, you can rule the world and learn how to set effective goals all in one afternoon!

Note: 2 boxes are provided with the course. You can purchase additional decks to run this with multiple teams.

Coaching OKRs

The companion book to the Coaching OKRs program.

Packed full of guidance, examples, and material to support the weekly classes.

Follow the fictional case study, as Alex (our team coach) makes the case for OKRs, trains his team, and guides them through their first full OKR cycle.

Note: Book still in progress, should be ready by the time the course starts, if not it will be sent as soon as possible after that.
